Cabin Crew Training Program

Duration: 6 Months

Description - The role of an air cabin crew member is given below:

Carrying out pre-flight duties, including checking the safety equipment, ensuring the aircraft is clean and tidy, ensuring that information in the seat pockets is up to date and that all meals and stock are on board;
Welcoming passengers on board and directing them to their seats;
Informing passengers of the aircraft safety procedures and ensuring that all hand luggage is securely stored away;
Checking all passenger seat belts and galleys are secure prior to take-off;
Making announcements o behalf of the pilot and answering passenger questions during the flight;

Serving meals and refreshments to passengers;
Selling duty-free goods and advising passengers of a any allowance restrictions in force at their destination;
Reassuring passengers and ensuring that they follow safety procedures correctly in emergency situations;
Giving first aid to passengers where necessary;
Ensuring passengers disembark safely at the end of a flight and checking that there is no luggage left in the overhead lockers;
Completing paperwork, including writing a flight report.

Eligibility criteria

a) Age Between 17 and 24 years
b) Marital Status – Unmarried
c) Educational Qualification-10+2 from a recognized Board/University
d) Physical Standards –
1. Vision
Near Vision: N/5 in better eye and N/6 in worst eye.
Distant vision: 6/6 in one eye & 6/9 in another eye.
Spectacles/corrective surgery not allowed.
Contact lenses up to 2D permitted.
2. Colour Vision: Normal on Ishihara Chart.
3. Height & Weight:
Female Minimum 154.5 cms
Male Minimum 163 cms
e) Language: Fluency in English and one or more Indian Languages.
Should also have working knowledge of Hindi.
